IWARelief is a non governmental organisation working with churches and other charities in the UK and across Africa to support communities hit by disasters.
We engage in emergency preparedness, response and recovery from emergencies. We also advocate for people in need, promote preparedness and facilitate sustainable solutions
We evaluate the needs of vulnerable people and communities hit by disasters locally and internationally.
IWARelief engages in emergency preparedness, response and recovery relief that is aimed principally to ensure a coherent response to and recovering from emergencies both in the East Midlands,UK. It also advocates for people in need, promote preparedness, and facilitate sustainable solutions.
IWARelief continually seeks to provide a comprehensive service available to all at all levels of needs. The service is designed to improve welfare of both physical and mental health.
While every effort has been towards disasters impact on survives some of whom may be still recovering from injuries traumatised by the experience, uncertain of the future and unable to provide for their own welfare, at least in the short term. We focus on providing adequate flexible service to suite needs.
Provision of health care assistance to vulnerable communities is key to building the foundation needed for improved community social welfare.
